Frequently asked questions about our tours
Allow at least 9 days to explore two or three regions without rushing, for example Santo Domingo, the Jarabacoa mountains and the Samaná peninsula. With 12 to 15 days, you can tour more of the island and add a few beach days.
A private driver is the most relaxed option: Dominican driving can be challenging and your driver knows every road. A self-drive tour gives you more freedom, and we deliver the car to your hotel. Most of our tours can be done either way.
Our tours start from $1,700 per person, excluding international flights. The price depends on the length of the trip, the season, the level of accommodation and the means of transport. Every quote is tailor-made and free of charge.
From December to April, during the dry season, with humpback whales in Samaná Bay from mid-January to the end of March as a bonus. May, June and November offer a great balance between weather and prices.
