Constanza is a region in the Dominican Republic known for its cool climate and lush landscapes. It is also the perfect place for cultivating high-quality strawberries.

Our excursion begins early in the morning when our driver and guide pick you up from your hotel. We will cross the lush valleys of Constanza, where cultivated fields coexist with pine forests and majestic mountains, to reach the starting point of our hike.

For about an hour, you will walk through a unique landscape dotted with panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains to reach the summit of the majestic Aguas Blancas waterfall. Arriving at the waterfall is a moment of pure wonder: the water cascades down a steep cliff over 83 meters high, transforming into a misty veil and creating ephemeral rainbows as sunlight passes through. You will have the opportunity to refresh yourself in the crystal-clear waters of the natural pools formed at the base of the waterfall, a true luxury after the hike. It’s a privileged moment to appreciate the tranquility of nature, listen to the song of exotic birds, and rejuvenate in an absolutely magical setting.

On the way back, we will take you to the foot of the waterfall to admire it from different viewpoints. After the hike, we head to a typical restaurant in Constanza for a Dominican lunch with a unique view of the Constanza mountains.

In the afternoon, you will visit a strawberry plantation where you will learn about the entire process: from soil preparation to the harvest of red and juicy fruits. You will have the opportunity to walk between the rows of strawberries, observe the organic farming methods up close, and understand the importance of local agriculture in Constanza’s economy and culture.

The highlight of the visit is undoubtedly the strawberry picking. Equipped with baskets, you can enjoy picking these delicious fruits, selecting the ripest and tastiest ones. This activity is particularly appreciated by families, offering a fun and interactive experience for children and adults.

After the picking, relax and enjoy a tasting of fresh strawberries, accompanied by a delicious juice to end the day beautifully!
