Small Group Stay: Discovering the Samana Peninsula from April 14 to 21, 2025

Welcome to your haven of peace for this wonderful week awaiting you in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic. Villa Alma is a brand-new minimalist-style house located a 3-minute walk from Playa Bonita, one of the most beautiful beaches in the village.

The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms:

• 2 triple bedrooms, each with its private bathroom
• 1 bedroom with a king-size bed and private bathroom

The villa has a private 4x10m pool with a sunbathing area, private parking, a washing machine, and a dryer. Every morning, breakfast will be served on the terrace facing the pool. During your stay, a housekeeper will come once a week to clean, and every evening, a night security service will be present within the property to ensure your privacy.

Welcome to the Dominican Republic! Our driver will be waiting for you at Santo Domingo airport. Head to Las Terrenas, where you will be greeted by Fanny, our wonderful host and member of the Holaqueya team. Settle into Villa Alma, enjoy an evening and Dominican dinner at the house. Use this first evening to get to know the group or take a dip in the villa’s pool.

Enjoy a free morning at the house to swim in the pool or walk to Playa Bonita beach. A paradisiacal setting awaits you with endless coconut trees and the Atlantic Ocean in front of you. At 12 pm, meet at Mosquito, the trendy spot in Las Terrenas, where you will have lunch with your feet in the sand. Lunch is à la carte (not included), with a cocktail offered by Fanny. Spend the afternoon enjoying this beautiful place, where you won’t want to leave. At 5:30 pm, our driver will pick you up at the villa to take you to a dance class in Las Terrenas village. Learn to dance merengue and bachata, the typical dances of the Dominican Republic. Trust us, this little class will be useful for the rest of your stay to get into the local ambiance! Return to the villa in the evening, with a free night and dinner.

Depart from your villa early in the morning with our driver to El Limon Waterfall. Get ready for a short hike through the jungle before reaching the El Limon Waterfall, where you can swim in its clear waters. After the hike, have lunch at a typical ranch before heading to a secret beach in the afternoon. Return to the villa in the evening with our driver and a free night. You’ll find all our dining and entertainment recommendations in Las Terrenas in your travel guide. You also have the option to cook at the villa or order delivery.

Enjoy this free day to relax by the villa’s pool or one of Las Terrenas’ beautiful beaches. For the more adventurous, we offer an optional half-day excursion to explore the Dominican countryside by quad. Our driver will pick you up at the villa in the morning to take you to El Limon village, where your excursion will begin. Meet a warm Dominican family and discover their daily life. They will show you the different products they grow in their garden: avocados, cocoa, coffee… During a break, you can even taste these products. End this unforgettable morning with a relaxing swim at Morón Beach. Free evening and dinner.

Depart from your hotel with our driver and French-speaking guide to Sanchez. You’ll take a boat to explore Los Haitises National Park, its mangroves, caves, and birds. Lunch at a local restaurant and return to your villa around 3 pm. Free evening.

Enjoy a free day to relax or opt for a boat tour to Playa Ermitaño. Those interested can discover this wild beach, one of the most beautiful on the Samana Peninsula. Meet our guide and boat at Playa Las Ballenas to be taken to El Ermitaño. After a 40-minute journey, arrive at this postcard-worthy wild beach. Enjoy snorkeling, relaxing, and swimming. Then, head to a typical restaurant on Playa Moron for more swimming before returning to Las Terrenas in mid-afternoon. Free evening.

It’s your last day in the Dominican Republic. Use it to perfect your tan on Las Terrenas’ beaches or by the villa’s pool. In the evening, our driver will take you to one of the best restaurants in Las Terrenas for an à la carte dinner to end your trip beautifully.
